Shaping the future together now.
Research & development for a sustainable future
The forestry and timber industry is an essential component in the supply of biogenic raw materials. However, it faces major challenges: climate change, resource scarcity and increasing demands on efficiency and resource use require new solutions. Therefore, the goal of TATEKU is to demonstrate a commitment to research and development along the entire value chain.
We rely on innovation because we are convinced that progress and timber construction are inextricably linked. Only through new technologies, intelligent processes and a holistic view of the forest as an ecosystem can we create long-term solutions. In doing so, we think ahead: our developments are not just geared towards short-term success, but towards helping shape a resilient and contemporary industry.
With professional excellence and genuine passion, we drive forward projects that are both economically viable, as well as sensible and implementable. For us, responsibility means thinking outside the box – for the resource-efficient use of timber, conscious forest management and the preservation of ecosystems for generations to come.
Through our commitment, we combine tradition with cutting-edge technology, creating solutions that endure. For us, true innovation does not just mean creating something new, but also developing what already exists – with foresight, reliability and the ambition to create long-term value.

State-of-the-art technologies to strengthen the forestry and timber value chain
Planting - Sustainable reforestation for the future
Sustainable plant breeding plays a crucial role in safeguarding our forests and promoting biodiversity. Through targeted research and the use of innovative technologies, TATEKU Innovation develops solutions that produce climate-resistant tree species and make reforestation projects more efficient. This creates resilient forests that not only store CO₂, but also preserve valuable habitats.
Climate-resistant forests for future generations
Climate change poses major challenges for our forests. Rising temperatures, longer periods of drought and increasing pest infestations are threatening traditional tree species and entire forest ecosystems. By breeding climate-resistant plants, TATEKU Innovation is creating the basis for forests that are better able to adapt to changing environmental conditions. This not only ensures the continued existence of forests, but also their function as CO₂ reservoirs and sources of raw materials.
Preserving natural diversity: Biodiversity as the key to resilient forests
A diverse plant world is essential for a healthy forest ecosystem. Monocultures are more susceptible to disease and climate change, while species-rich forests are more stable and resilient. TATEKU Innovation favours diversity in reforestation in order to preserve and strengthen habitats for animals and plants in the long term. The targeted cultivation of different tree species creates a natural balance that actively promotes biodiversity and ensures the long-term ecological stability of forests.
Technology-supported reforestation for maximum efficiency
Modern technologies enable more precise and efficient reforestation. TATEKU Innovation integrates satellite-based monitoring, robotics and AI-supported analysis methods to create optimal conditions for the growth of new trees. This ensures that each plant thrives in the best possible way and that reforestation is sustainable and resource-efficient.
Economic and ecological benefits of sustainable plant breeding
In addition to the ecological benefits, sustainable plant cultivation also contributes to the economic stability of the timber industry. By cultivating high-quality, resistant tree species, forests can serve as a sustainable source of raw materials in the long term. Companies benefit from a secure supply of wood, while at the same time reducing the industry's ecological footprint.
Precise basis for decision-making thanks to digital analyses
Data-based technologies are revolutionising forestry by enabling more precise decision-making. With the help of satellite-based monitoring and AI-supported analyses, forest areas can be assessed in real time. Health status, growth potential and potential risks are recognised at an early stage, allowing targeted measures to be taken and inefficient interventions to be avoided.
Optimised management for sustainable yield
Digital twins and AI-supported management plans allow forest management to be precisely tailored to the needs of each forest stand. This allows harvest cycles to be optimised, pest infestations to be detected at an early stage and resource utilisation to be improved. These data-driven strategies not only increase efficiency, but also make it possible to secure stable long-term yields from sustainable forest utilisation.
Cost reduction through targeted measures
Traditional forestry is often associated with high operating costs, as decisions are based on manual inspections. The use of modern technologies reduces unnecessary costs as precise data enables forward-looking planning. For example, maintenance and harvesting operations can be planned on the basis of real-time data, which optimises the amount of work and use of materials.
Flexible and accessible solutions for all forest sizes
Not only large forest owners benefit from these technologies - private individuals also gain access to digital solutions through innovative leasing models for small forests. TATEKU Innovation develops concepts that enable sustainable and profitable forest management for everyone. Modern technologies increase efficiency, protect nature and maximise economic benefits.
